Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. The Play Ledger uses only a handful, and none of them try to work out who you are.
Essential cookies
These make the site behave properly — for example, remembering that you've confirmed you're 18 or over and that you've dismissed the cookie notice, so you aren't asked on every page. The site won't work as intended without them, so they're always on.
Analytics cookies
We use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics to understand which comparisons and pages readers actually use. The data is anonymised and grouped — it tells us a page is popular, not that you visited it.
Affiliate cookies
When you click through to an operator using one of our links, that operator may set a cookie to credit us for the referral. We don't control those cookies; they fall under the operator's own cookie and privacy policies.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the cookie notice lets you keep things to essential-only. Blocking essential cookies may mean you're asked to confirm your age again on each visit.
